Levypyörä Oy’s managing director Lars Ojansuu is leaving the company to pursue other career opportunities outside Nokian Tyres. Levypyörä was acquired to be part of Nokian Heavy Tyres in August 2019 to support its growth strategy. Levypyörä specializes in the design, product development, and manufacture of Wheels and Steel structures for heavyduty machinery. ”I want to thank Lars for his contribution in Levypyörä integration as well as supporting the implementation of the Nokian Heavy Tyres’ strategy”, says Manu Salmi, Managing Director, SVP, Nokian Heavy Tyres.

In addition to his current role as a Nokian Heavy Tyres plant director, Pasi Antinmaa will take the lead of Levypyörä business, and act as a managing director. Pasi will continue to be member of Nokian Heavy Tyres management team and report to Manu Salmi. ”Pasi has been part of Levypyörä journey since the acquisition through integration. He has been together with the Levypyörä team developing the production processes efficiency, quality and safety. Pasi’s new role in Levypyörä is a natural continuation to the work that has already been started,” Manu points out.

Changes are valid as of October 1, 2020.
